Youth and Children Ministries

Nursery

Nursery services are available during the sermon for children 0-3. There is also a side room beside the main congregation room, where parents can take their children during the sermon and still hear the speaker and watch the powerpoints being shown.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes are a vital and dynamic small group environment for growth in the church. The groups are focused by age/grade to meet different learning styles and spiritual development of the students. Our goals are to help students meet the Saviour Jesus Christ, to help them understand and apply truths of God’s Word, and to build relationships. Classes are divided into ages 3-5, grades 1-3, grades 4-5, grades 5-6, grades 7-8, and high school.

3:16 Club

The 3:16 Club is for kids from SK – Grade 5. They meet at the church Wednesdays during the school year from 3:30-5pm. The club includes outdoor games, snacks, singing, Bible stories, and other activities designed to teach kids about Jesus through fun and friendship. Children earn rewards for attendance, verse memorization, and for bringing a friend. There is always a lot of excitement and energy in the building during this time! The staff of 3:16 Club consists of teens and adults who love God and kids!

MSN

Middle School Night offers youth grades 6-8 the opportunity to hang out, play crazy games, talk about God, and eat snacks. The goal is to see young people from a variety of backgrounds and church experiences connect with each other, caring Christian leaders and Jesus Christ.  MSN is usually held at the Donald Young School gym every second Sunday from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

Youth

Youth Group is an event for high school aged youth. It takes place on Thursday night from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. They alternate between Bible study nights and activity nights. The group averages about 20-25 kids who come to discuss the gospel and interact with each other, as well as to take opportunities to serve others in the wider community. Youth are given opportunities to develop solid relationships with their peers and committed Christian Small Group leaders, are able to serve within the church, go on missions trips, and learn more about God.

Please see the Emo Youth Group Facebook page for information on events.
